PROPOSAL—RFP NO: 23-014 <br />Jun 1, 2023 - May 31, 2026 <br />• What solutions most effectively address these challenges? <br />o Create new initiatives/projects and improve/build on existing ones <br />o Feasibility and resources <br />— Do we have the resources [financial and staffing] to allocate to the initiative/project? <br />o How do these initiatives connect to the Division's mission/vision and core values? <br />o Do all communications [written, visual etc.] reflect the Division's brand? <br />o Does the Division's culture align with its core values? <br />• Outreach and communications needs for each initiative/project [existing and new] <br />* Will include select one-on-one interviews <br />Meeting #3: Joint meeting with stakeholders [allocate a minimum of 2 hours] to discuss <br />internal [interdepartmental] processes and communications: <br />• Discuss more effective ways to streamline internal processes <br />o Where do projects get hung up? <br />o How can we improve interdepartmental communications and processes to increase <br />efficiency? <br />• Roles and responsibilities <br />• Protocols <br />• Contingencies: Addressing emergencies/unanticipated projects <br />Straightline will then begin the strategic planning process that will include: <br />• Assessing the Division's mission, vision, and core values [if these need refinement] <br />• Assessing the Division's public image and brand [is it aligned with the Division's core values <br />and mission?] <br />• Identifying challenges, needs, areas for improvement, and untapped opportunities [SWOT <br />analysis] <br />• Assessing the effectiveness of the Division's existing Strategic Plan <br />• Establishing a framework for the 2023 Strategic Plan <br />The framework for the new Strategic Plan will: <br />• Provide an executive summary <br />• Include key message points to be incorporated at the Division level in all communications <br />both external and internal <br />• Make recommendations to streamline inter -department communications, processes and <br />projects <br />• Establish priorities and set goals <br />• Outline execution strategies (actionable steps) by which each goal is to be achieved <br />• Identify individuals responsible for each deliverable <br />• Specify timelines <br />• Include a master planning calendar so all departments are on the same page <br />Page 1 17 <br />
