Specialized approaches and strategies are required to assist <br />individuals from this underserved group of job seekers. <br /> <br />• Individuals needing training may be overwhelmed by the variety of institutions, <br />programs, and courses available in Orange County. Using "navigators" may help job <br />seekers determine the best service options. <br /> <br />• The county is diverse in terms of those needing workforce development assistance. <br />Customized approaches may be the best strategy for meeting the needs of various <br />target groups. <br /> <br />• Information about AJCC services and workforce system partner programs should be <br />available in the native languages most frequently spoken in Orange County. <br /> <br />• Outreach to job seekers and businesses should leverage the full range of social media <br />resources as they reach a wide audience at no cost. <br /> <br />• Web-based resources need to be accessible to and easy to navigate for people with <br />disabilities. <br /> <br />• Expanding virtual services for businesses will enable the workforce system to reach <br />many companies in the county. <br />EXHIBIT 2
