Butier, Jr. <br />Project Director <br />Professional Summary <br />Mr. Butier serves as President and Chief Financial Officer for Butier <br />Engineering. His primary duties include functioning as the primary point of <br />contact between Butier and its clients; contract management; sub -consultant <br />contract management; maintenance of Butier's project information system; <br />development of the firm's field procedural manuals; and staff resource <br />management. Mr. Butier works closely with the field construction <br />management staff to ensure all contract scope requirements are being fully <br />implemented. Mr. Butier also serves as the firm's contact between the field <br />construction management staff/client and the project public outreach effort, <br />when necessary. He has been responsible for generating, distributing, and <br />presenting to numerous public boards and community associations dealing <br />with the impact of construction activity on the local community. <br />Mr. Butier has 25 years of varied experience as an Assistant Resident <br />Engineer and Inspector for municipal and governmental agency projects. <br />Primary emphasis has been in municipal water and wastewater transmission <br />and treatment projects, as well as landfills. His responsibilities include project <br />field engineer / inspector in quality control for civil inspection; shop drawing <br />review and approval; full responsibilities for contract administration; CPM <br />scheduling; cost controls; and contractor claims and changes. <br />Project Experience <br />Project Director, Mid -Basin Injection: Centennial Park Project; Santa <br />Ana, CA; Orange County Water District (Estimated Completion: 2019; <br />Value: $23.2 million) —The Butier Team is providing constructability review, <br />project coordination, resident engineering, and construction inspection <br />services for the Mid -Basin Injection Wells Project located within Santa Ana's <br />87-acre Centennial Park. The wells will be used to directly inject product <br />water from the District's GWRS into the principal groundwater aquifer. The <br />project consists of the following: construction of four (4) groundwater injection <br />wells in below grade vaults (approximately 1,200 feet deep); construction of a <br />monitoring well at the Heritage Museum site; construction of 5,500 LF of <br />purified recycled water injection supply pipeline that connects to the District's <br />existing GWRS pipeline and crosses the Santa Ana River; construction of <br />4,200 LF of backflush discharge pipeline that discharges to the Greenville - <br />Banning Channel and Centennial Park Lake; installation of submersible <br />pumps within the four injection wells; replacement of 9.6 acres of paving with <br />the Park; demolishing an existing City of Santa Ana restroom facility; and <br />construction of two new buildings with shared City and District uses. <br />Project Director, San Lorenzo Sewer Lift Station; Santa Ana, CA; City of <br />Santa Ana, Public Works (Completion: 06/2021; Value: $7.6 million) — <br />The San Lorenzo Sewage Lift Station Project consists of construction of the <br />following: lift station —below ground dry and wet wells; aboveground CMU <br />block building; three (3) 15 hp dry pit sewage pumps; piping, fittings, valves, <br />flow meter, in -line grinders, rail and hoist system; HVAC, ventilation and <br />
