14. Special Inspection / Testing <br />The PM and Lead Inspector will schedule and <br />coordinate special inspection and material testing <br />with the County of Orange, or other consultants and <br />make recommendations to the City regarding <br />special inspection or testing of work not in <br />compliance with the contract documents. <br />1. Detailed Project Punch Lists <br />The Butier Team will prepare a project punch list at <br />substantial completion and coordinate the <br />correction of deficiencies by the Contractor. Upon <br />correction of deficiencies, the PM will coordinate <br />and conduct a final walk-through prior to the <br />acceptance of work with the Design Engineer, <br />City's Construction Manager, and other staff as <br />directed. <br />2. Final Payment Requests <br />Track stop notices until releases are obtained from <br />all outstanding stop notices. Recommend final <br />payment in the form of release of retention to the <br />Contractor in accordance with contract <br />requirements. Verify that the Contractor has made <br />all payments to the subcontractors and vendors <br />and that any stop notices or liens have been <br />released. Verify final documentation has been <br />received and obtain a Conditional Waiver of Lien <br />from the Contractor prior to recommending final <br />payment. <br />3. Verify Contractor's Project <br />Record Drawings <br />The PM will review the Contractor's project record <br />drawings for completeness. <br />4. Commissioning & Warranty <br />The Butier Team will be responsible for additional <br />close-out items, including As -Built plans and related <br />documentation, punch list completion, <br />commissioning and warranty requests during the <br />one-year period, scheduling and overseeing the <br />warranty repair, and performing site visits as <br />requested by the City to look at defects of <br />imperfection to determine if it is a warranty issue. <br />City of Santa Ana, Public Works Agency <br />Well 32 Rehabilitation Improvements <br />Construction Management and Inspection Services, RFP No. 22-051 <br />5. O&M Materials <br />The Butier Team will deliver the following to the <br />City: O&M Manuals; the Major Equipment Warranty <br />Expiration Record spreadsheet compiled, reviewed, <br />and approved in writing by the City; and spare <br />parts, equipment, and maintenance materials upon <br />acceptance. <br />6. Final Report <br />The PM will prepare and submit a final progress <br />report to the City no later than 60 calendar days <br />following the filing of the Notice of Completion. The <br />report will include a complete overview of the <br />contract, Contractor's performance, <br />accomplishments, preliminary and final project <br />costs, cash flows, schedules, and <br />recommendations for alleviating problems <br />experienced on the project. <br />7. Turn Over All Documents and Files <br />The Butier Team will furnish all contract <br />documents, as -built records, and final reports to the <br />City's CM within 60 calendar days following filing of <br />the Notice of Completion. The files will also be <br />scanned and provided to the City in electronic <br />format. <br />8. Construction Management Software <br />The Butier Team utilizes Procore to organize, <br />manage, and control project documentation. The <br />advantages of Procore include unlimited users, <br />unlimited storage, 24/7 visibility into project status, <br />and a centralized, comprehensive platform to <br />manage vital project data. All parties involved have <br />access to the system, and each user can access <br />the program via a web browser on their computer <br />or mobile device using secure log -in information. <br />Additionally, Procore can be configured to display <br />the latest Primavera P6 construction project <br />schedule and weather information, both current and <br />forecast. We are currently using this cloud - <br />based construction project management <br />solution on the City of Santa Ana's South Main <br />Corridor Improvements Project and the San <br />Lorenzo Sewer Lift Station Project. <br />19 F.
