District Centers Continue to facilitate and encourage the <br />development of mixed-use housing in the <br />various District Centers through the Specific <br />Development Zone (SD) or MEMU Overlay. <br />Consider the amendment of District Center <br />boundaries to allow for new residential <br />products that meet City housing goals and <br />policies. <br />Ongoing The City continues to review residential and mixed-use development proposals in the <br />District Center areas, through the implementation of the TZC, MEMU, and Harbor Mixed <br />Use Transit Corridor Specific Plan (SP-2). As part of the General Plan Update <br />underway, the City has identified opportunity sites ("Focus Areas") to consider new <br />housing and mixed-use developments. The creation of additional District Center and <br />Urban Neighborhood land use designations are proposed as well.
