Uptown Bikeways Phase 3 <br />San Diego, CA <br />The Project will create connections within neighborhoods, <br />improve streets, and provide links to the larger bikeway network <br />being built throughout the region. The Project will offer on -street <br />connections in the City of San Diego from Old Town and Mission <br />Valley through uptown to downtown, North Park, and Balboa <br />Park. It is part of the SANDAG Regional Bike Plan Early Action <br />Program (Bike EAP), a ten-year effort to expand the regional bike <br />network and complete high -priority bikeway projects from Riding <br />to 2050: The San Diego Regional Bike Plan (Bike Plan). The Bike <br />Plan and Bike EAP are part of the region's efforts to make riding <br />a bike a viable, attractive choice for everyday trips. The Project <br />involves providing a bikeway along Washington Street between <br />the Washington Street Trolley Station and University Avenue; <br />San Diego Avenue between Washington Street and Noell Street; <br />Walnut Avenue between Third Avenue and Fifth Avenue; Third <br />Avenue between Walnut Avenue and Lewis Street; Lewis Street <br />between Third Avenue and Bachman Place; Bachman Place <br />between Lewis Street and Hotel Circle South; and along Hotel <br />Circle South, Camino De La Reina, and Avenida Del Rio between <br />Bachman Place and Riverwalk Drive. <br />Chula Vista Traffic Signal On Call <br />Chula Vista, CA <br />IBI Group was selected by the City of Chula Vista California to <br />provide on -call Traffic Engineering & Intelligent Transportation <br />Systems (ITS) Consulting Services for various programs <br />consisting of traffic, transportation, civil, ITS, telecommunications, <br />and networking projects. The work is assigned on an as needed <br />basis for a variety of capital improvement projects and/or city <br />programs. In the initial stages of the contract, IBI has been <br />assigned three tasks which are currently underway. The first <br />is the design of thirteen traffic signal modifications to upgrade <br />existing traffic signals within the City. The 65% plans for these <br />upgrades are current in City review. The second task was to <br />specify, purchase and install cellular modem connections for <br />various locations to provide connectivity between the City's traffic <br />management center, and traffic control systems in the field. This <br />work is nearing completion. The third task assigned to date is to <br />provide ongoing expertise and troubleshooting for the recently <br />installed transit signal priority systems in the City.
