(9) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CATEGORY <br />POINTS <br />Experience of Firm and Personnel <br />Technical qualifications and experience of key members of the engagement team and <br />25 <br />the firm. <br />Relevant Project Experience <br />Experience with similarly sized governmental agencies in providing the types of <br />25 <br />services outlined in this RFP <br />Financial stability and resources to handle all aspects of the engagement as specified in <br />this RFP and provide ongoing support and technical assistance throughout the term of <br />20 <br />the agreement. <br />Responsiveness to RFP <br />Compliance with the requirements of this RFP. Thoroughness of auditors' proposed <br />15 <br />scope of work, clearly defined schedule of work to be performed, and ability to meet <br />required completion dates for key parts of the audit. <br />Reasonableness of Cost <br />- Cost of delivering specified services is consistent with industry standards. <br />- Expected overhead costs for the awarded entity as they apply to management of <br />the contract <br />15 <br />NOTE: Contractor shall pay all salaries and wages, employer's Social Security taxes, <br />unemployment insurance, and similar taxes relating to employees and shall be <br />responsible for all applicable withholding taxes. <br />TOTAL POSSIBLE SCORE <br />100 <br />C. A final score will be calculated for each submitted proposal and used to rank Proposers. <br />The City is under no obligation to accept any proposal and reserves the right to negotiate <br />with respondents as to fees and terms. The City may reject proposals at its sole discretion. <br />If a proposal fails to satisfy any requirements outlined in this RFP, it may be considered non- <br />responsive and the proposal may be rejected. <br />D. The City shall not be obligated to accept the lowest priced proposal, but will make an award <br />in the best interests of the City of Santa Ana after all factors have been evaluated. <br />E. Oral interviews will be conducted at the City's discretion tentatively on March 22, 2021. <br />F. Finance staff will recommend the top ranked consulting firm to the City Manager or City <br />Council for award of contract. <br />XI. WITHDRAWALS <br />Proposers are responsible for verifying all prices and information before submitting a proposal. <br />Prior to the proposal due date, the Proposer or Proposer's representative may withdraw the <br />proposal by providing written notice of the proposal withdrawal to the City Contact/Project <br />Manager.
