Cabrillo Park Drive at Park Court Place (Santa <br />Ana) <br />■ Existing Traffic Conditions — Twenty-four (24) of the twenty-five key study intersections <br />currently operate at an acceptable level of service during the AM and PM peak hours. The <br />intersection of SR-55 SB Ramps/4th Street currently operates at unacceptable LOS E during the <br />AM peak hour. <br />■ Project Trip Generation — The proposed Project, after adjustment for internal capture, is forecast <br />to generate approximately 4,121 "net" daily trips, with 264 "net" trips (82 inbound, 182 <br />outbound) produced in the AM peak hour and 344 "net" trips (205 inbound, 139 outbound) <br />produced in the PM peak hour on a "typical" weekday. <br />■ Related Projects Traffic Characteristics —Thirty (30) related projects were considered as part of <br />the cumulative background setting. The thirty (30) related projects are forecast to generate <br />45,942 daily trips, with 3,033 trips (1,458 inbound, 1,575 outbound) anticipated during the AM <br />peak hour and 3,837 trips (1,927 inbound, 1,910 outbound) produced during the PM peak hour. <br />■ Existing Plus Project Traffic Conditions — Traffic associated with the proposed Project will <br />significantly impact one (1) of the twenty-five study intersections, when compared to the LOS <br />standards and significant impact criteria specified in this report. The impacted intersection of SR- <br />55 SB Ramps/4th Street is forecast to operate at LOS E during the AM peak hour. The remaining <br />study intersections are forecast to operate at acceptable level of service during the AM and PM <br />peak hours. The implementation of recommended improvements at the intersection will help <br />offset the Project's impact <br />Year 2025 Cumulative Traffic Conditions Plus Project — Traffic associated with the proposed <br />Project will significantly impact two (2) of the twenty-five study intersections, when compared <br />to the LOS standards and significant impact criteria specified in this report, which include I-5 <br />NB Ramps/4th Street and SR-55 SB Ramps/4th Street.
