The <br />implementation of recommended improvements at the intersection will help offset the Project's <br />impact. <br />■ Caltrans Existing Traffic Conditions — The intersection of SR-55 SB Ramps/41 Street currently <br />operates at unacceptable LOS F in the AM peak hour. The remaining state-controlled study <br />intersections currently operate at LOS C or better during the weekday AM and PM peak hours. <br />■ Caltrans Existing Plus Project Traffic Conditions — The intersection of SR-55 SB Ramps/411 <br />Street will continue to operate at unacceptable LOS F in the AM peak hour with the addition of <br />project traffic. The remaining state-controlled study intersections are forecast to operate at <br />acceptable LOS C or better during the weekday AM and PM peak hours, with the addition of <br />project traffic. <br />Although the intersection of SR-55 SB Ramps/4th Street is forecast to operate at unacceptable <br />LOS F in the AM peak hour, the intersection is not considered significantly impacted when <br />compared to the LOS standards and significant impact criteria specified in this report. <br />■ Caltrans Year 2025 Cumulative Plus Project Traffic Conditions — The intersection of SR-55 <br />SB Ramps/4th Street will continue to operate at unacceptable LOS F in the AM peak hour with <br />the addition of project traffic. Due to the recommended second westbound right -turn lane along 4' Street, additional <br />improvements are recommended for the northbound and southbound approaches at Cabrillo Park <br />Drive/0 Street.
