Tustin Ave., Suite 243, Santa Ana, Ca 92705 <br />Purpose: Community meeting in compliance with the Sunshine Ordinance for <br />Central Pointe at 4th St. & Cabrillo Park in Santa Ana <br />In Attendance: City Representatives: Vince Fregoso, Selena Kelaher, Scott Kutner, Mark <br />McLoughlin <br />Applicant: Sean Rawson and Consultant Team (KTGY/Architect, <br />MJS/Landscape Architect and Debra Pember/Asst. Project Manager <br />Members of the Public: 15 members were in attendance <br />The meeting began at approximately 6:05 pm. Sean Rawson, the applicant, introduced himself <br />and his team. He provided an overview of the proposed project with a power point slide <br />presentation, illustrating the conceptual elevations, floor plans, finishes, amenities and open <br />space. It was emphasized that this is only a conceptual plan at this time. This is the first <br />opportunity to get public feed -back. The following information was shared, followed by <br />questions and comments. <br />• Project Zoning: The intent of the MEMU (Metro East Mixed -Use Overlay District) was <br />explained and how the project complies with the zoning. <br />• Type of Project: 650 unit mixed -use residential project located in the Active Urban <br />District. The mixed -use will include retail space on the first floors facing 4th Street. The <br />project will create 500 jobs and bring $36 million to the City in short-term income. <br />• Project has just recently been submitted to the City and no City feedback has been <br />received since submittal. <br />• Project Amenities: The Landscape Architect, Matt Jackson, described the green open <br />space open to the public and some of the roof top amenities that will be available to the <br />residents, such as pools, fitness and clubrooms. A dog park is also being planned for the <br />residents. <br />• Number of Units: Two buildings that total 650 luxury apartment units for rent, made up <br />of studio units, one, two and some three -bedroom units. It was emphasized that this is <br />conceptual as this point in time, until public and City feedback is received. <br />
