Consultant Responsibilities: <br />The Consultant's responsibilities include the following, and shall consist of the following project <br />tasks: <br />Consultant is responsible for providing all design and engineering as required for all components <br />within the project scope of work. This includes but is not limited to survey, civil engineering, <br />geotechnical investigation, architectural/landscape architectural design, structural engineering, and <br />electrical engineering. Project team should also include a CASP certified professional to ensure <br />accessibility of all public areas. <br />Consultant shall provide review sets in .pdf format. <br />Task 1: Pre -Design <br />Preliminary design shall include Kick-off meeting with City Staff (representatives from Public Works <br />Agency, Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency and Santa Ana Zoo) to discuss scope of <br />work, project goals and objectives, potential elements and issues, schedule, review of existing <br />information and site investigation. <br />➢ Deliverables shall include a Work Task Plan, Schedule, Geotechnical Report and Site Survey. <br />Task2: Concept Design <br />Concept design shall include up to three (3) meetings with City Staff to brainstorm and review <br />potential layouts. <br />➢ Deliverables shall include up to three (3) schematic concept designs, with one final rendered <br />concept site plan and perspective drawing for fundraising and presentation purposes. <br />City of Santa Ana RFP 23-033 <br />Page Al-4 <br />
