Chapter 4 Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program <br />Hydrology and Water Quality <br />Impact 4.7-1: Implementation of <br />MM-0Z4.7-1 In order to comply with the 2003 DAMP, future development projects <br />Public Works <br />Project <br />Prior to Issuance of <br />the proposed Overlay Zone would <br />in the Overlay Zone shall prepare Storm Drain Plans, Stormwater Pollution <br />Applicant <br />Permits <br />not violate water quality <br />Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Water Quality Management Plans (WQMP) <br />standards, waste discharge, or <br />conforming to the current National Pollution Discharge Elimination System <br />otherwise substantially degrade <br />(NPDES) requirements, prepared by a Licensed Civil Engineer or Environmental <br />water quality. <br />Engineer, shall be submitted to the Department of Public Works for review and <br />approval. <br />a. A SWPPP shall be prepared and updated as needed during the course of <br />construction to satisfy the requirements ofeach phase ofthe development. <br />The plan shall incorporate all necessary Best Management Practices <br />(BMPs) and other City requirements to eliminate polluted runoff until all <br />construction work for the project is completed. The SWPPP shall include <br />treatment and disposal of all dewatering operation flows, and for nuisance <br />flows during construction. <br />b. A WQMP shall be prepared, maintained, and updated as needed to satisfy <br />the requirements of the adopted NPDES program.
