BID SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS <br />2. FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND (Awarded Contractor Only): A Faithful <br />Performance Bond is required for this bid. The value of the performance bond shall <br />be 100% of the contract price. Upon award, a bidder must provide the City with a <br />copy of the executed bond guaranteeing bidder's faithful performance of all provisions <br />of the contract. <br />F. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS <br />Bidders must have minimum five years' experience providing the same or similar services <br />to public agencies. <br />Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, parts/materials to <br />provide hazardous waste disposal and management services in accordance with contract <br />requirements; the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) <br />Regulations; Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regulations; CAL OSHA <br />requirements, appropriate manufacturer specifications; all applicable technical bulletins, <br />trade, federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, including, but not <br />limited to laws applicable to the Services at the time Services are provided to and accepted <br />by the City. <br />Contractor shall comply with all applicable local, state, and federal safety requirements. <br />All permits and fees required by all other Agencies having jurisdiction over any part of the <br />work shall be obtained and paid for by the Contractor. <br />Contractor shall be solely responsible for the fees associated with obtaining and/or <br />maintaining required licenses and all other appropriate licenses and certifications. <br />Contractor shall submit current copies of all applicable licenses and certifications to the City <br />at time of bid submittal and be responsible for maintaining current copies on file if awarded a <br />Contract. <br />Contractor's License: In accordance with California Public Contracting Code § 3300, the City <br />requires Contractors to possess a valid California Class B General Contractor's License <br />at the time bids are opened and to maintain this and all other applicable licenses and <br />certifications required to perform the work specified herein. <br />All permits and fees required by all other Agencies having jurisdiction over any part of the <br />work shall be obtained and paid for by the Contractor. <br />G. REFERENCES <br />Contractor shall provide three (3) references, for which Contractor has performed similar <br />services under contracts awarded over $100,000 by a similar public agency, which <br />demonstrate Bidder's ability to provide the supplies, equipment, or services required by <br />this IFB. References should be included with the Bidder's Statement and Company <br />Information Form (ATTACHMENT B) <br />City may disqualify a Bidder if. - <br />City of Santa Ana IFB No. 23-117A Page 5 of 21 <br />
