SCOPE OF WORK <br />II. SCOPE OF WORK <br />Contractor shall perform scope of work as set forth below and in accordance with <br />ATTACHMENT A, EXHIBIT I, AND EXHIBIT II. <br />A. GENERAL DESCRIPTION <br />The City is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to remove the current <br />wooden fence located at Memorial Park along Park Drive parking lot located on Park Dr. <br />and W St. Gertrude Place, dividing residential homes and the parking lot. The existing <br />wooden fence shall be replaced with a masonry wall. Memorial Park is located at 2102 S. <br />Flower St., Santa Ana, CA 92707. <br />B. SPECIFICATIONS <br />Standards and specifications for masonry are provided within EXHIBIT II. <br />1. Concrete masonry wall to conform to Spec in Exhibit Il. <br />2. Wall to be painted Don Edwards Navajo White. Verify color upon construction. <br />3. Wall is to be 8 feet tall from parks side' of the fence. Note residential side may vary <br />between 6 to 8 feet but should not be the controlling factor in height. <br />4. This project is located along multiple residential properties at the rear of the park on <br />Park Drive. Due to this, the time of day when work is conducted will also be determined <br />before construction begins. Door to door outreach must take place prior to construction <br />and is to be performed and coordinated by the Contractor. <br />5. Contractors will be responsible for supplying, installing, and maintaining fencing <br />surrounding construction area until the project is complete. Type of fencing to be <br />utilized must be approved by the City's project manager. Contractor shall be solely <br />responsible for cost of fencing and related installation, maintenance, and removal. <br />Residential properties must not be left exposed at any time when contractor is not <br />actively performing work in any section of the fence. <br />6. This project shall be a turn -key installation and will also include, but is not limited to: <br />a) Demolition and removal of existing fencing; <br />b) Clearing and root removal as needed; <br />c) Site preparation and grading; <br />d) Drainage components and modifications to site utilities as required; <br />e) New CMU wall (approximately 620 linear feet) including <br />foundations and surveying, as required; <br />f) Replacement of any adjacent affected site work including tying in <br />intersecting property line walls. <br />City of Santa Ana IFB No. 23-117A Page 10 of 21 <br />
