He was <br />always willing to go the extra mile, was very <br />precise in his work, and his work ethics are <br />impeccable. <br />Michael Wolff <br />Project Manager, City of Riverside ( Retired) <br />Responsibilities: Jose will monitor and provide daily direction <br />to SYRUSA's team and inspection personnel. He will assign <br />field personnel to specific project tasks; monitor and track the <br />contractor's progress; prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports <br />as required; coordinate utility relocations with appropriate agencies <br />and the utility inspector; and act as prime field contact between <br />various Project contractors and the City's Construction Manager <br />Jose is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of <br />California and has the ability to work independently, make effective <br />decisions concerning construction work in progress, and solve field <br />problems. <br />Jose has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of local <br />structure construction and construction management gained from <br />more than 30 years of relevant experience, including 20 years <br />with Caltrans Division of Structures Construction. He has served <br />as a Resident Engineer from beginning to end of on multiple <br />transportation improvement projects, including bridge replacement <br />and roadway improvement projects. Jose is also experienced in <br />federally funded projects as it relates to compliance, documentation <br />requirements, and funding reimbursement. <br />Relevant Experience <br />Resident Engineer / Structure Representative on I-10/1-215 <br />Retrofit I Caltrans D8 1 $150 M This project retrofitted four bridges <br />and a fly -over connector bridge over the Santa Ana River, requiring <br />USACE coordination. <br />Resident Engineer / Structure Representative on 1-15 at <br />Cajalco Road I City of Corona 1 $45 M This project included the <br />reconstruction of the Cajalco Road OC, construction of the Bedford <br />Wash off -ramp bridge, MSE walls and various retaining walls, and <br />mass concrete specification in footings and bents. <br />Luis has more than 23 years of experience on transportation <br />infrastructure construction projects.
