PHASE 2: CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, INSPECTION, AND <br />CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION SERVICES <br />1.Task/Deliverable: Submittals <br />• Review of completeness and quantity of <br />all required shop drawings, product data, <br />samples, requests for information (RFI), and <br />other submittals ("Submittals"). <br />• Shall review, reject, approval of mix designs <br />and materials and product submittal. <br />• Shall establish and implement procedures <br />for expediting the processing and approval of <br />Submittals. <br />• Continuous logging and tracking, so all <br />timelines are met by responsible party. <br />2.Task/Deliverable: Document <br />Control <br />• Use of Procore software for all aspects of <br />construction management, including, but <br />not limited to, submittals, RFI's contract <br />documents, inspections, drawings, photos, <br />dailies, and weeklies, City will provide license <br />to construction management team to monitor <br />and implement. <br />• Project Manager Jerry De Santos will conduct <br />internal audits to verify proper documentation <br />retention. <br />3.Task/Deliverable: Meetings <br />Lead pre -construction meeting and schedule <br />and conduct weekly construction and <br />progress meetings to discuss such matters <br />as procedures, progress, problems and <br />scheduling. Will prepare and promptly <br />distribute minutes. <br />A pre -construction meeting with all project <br />stakeholders and emergency services will be <br />held to address contract administration items <br />and project concerns. <br />Lead as a separate labor compliance meeting <br />to discuss requirements, submittals, and <br />expectations. <br />4.Task/Deliverable: Public <br />Outreach <br />• Attend and co -lead up to twenty (20) hours <br />of Construction Update meetings with the <br />community, including a pre -construction <br />meeting. Primary purpose of these meetings <br />are to provide pertinent updates to the <br />community and answer any questions relating <br />to the construction project. <br />5.Task/Deliverable: Regulatory <br />Permits <br />• Ensure that all regulatory permits, including, <br />but not limited to: USACE Section 408 permit, <br />Section 404 Permit, Section 106, OCFCD, <br />etc. are current and up to date, and that all <br />applicable fees have been paid and shall <br />obtain approvals from authorities having <br />jurisdiction over the Project. <br />• The consultant shall set aside a budget for <br />permit fees as part of this contract. <br />• Review of all permits and strict compliance. <br />SYRUSA will set aside a budget for permit <br />fees as part of this contract. <br />6.Task/Deliverable: Schedule <br />• Review construction schedule, including <br />activity sequences and duration, schedule <br />of submittals and schedule of delivery for <br />products with long lead-time. <br />• Monitor and obtain two -week look ahead <br />schedule as well as overall updated schedule <br />from the contractor periodically showing <br />current conditions and revisions required by <br />actual progress. <br />• Review the Contractor's two -week look ahead <br />schedule verify start and end dates of activities <br />and compare to the monthly update. <br />• Changes that may affect the critical path <br />and will be discussed at the weekly progress <br />meetings. <br />7.Task/Deliverable: Budget <br />• Conduct comprehensive evaluation <br />of change order requests, provide <br />independent estimates, negotiate, render <br />recommendations, and assist in claim <br />resolution. <br />PAGE134A <br />SYRUS4 <br />
