Alcala, Abigail
From: Rachel Andrews <
Sent: Tuesday, March 19, 2024 3:32 PM
To: eComment
Subject: Regarding Agenda Item #24
Am: eiifl.Wiu ll in eu uffl nror Ona1n°n9 fug-mnz onut;n de o, 'Cu y oro'Sanm Anna. Use canorm when n:pel inn aflac4gun enu s or finks.
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to speak out against the so-called "emergency ordinance" to restrict residents' rights to protest in
residential areas. This is an atrocious violation of the right to peacefully protest. Residents are not going to
cause damage in the areas where they live. While they may pose a small disturbance to other residents in the
area, it is crucial that American taxpayers retain the right to have their voices heard, especially within their own
communities. The right to protest is fundamental to democracy, and this ordinance sets a dangerous precedent.
Thank you.
- Rachel Andrews
