Through this system, 5 qualified local vendors were notified of the <br /> opportunity to bid on this project. <br /> Bid Results Summary <br /> RANK BIDDER'S NAME LOCATION BASE BID <br /> 1 T.E. Roberts, Inc. Orange $1,528,500 <br /> 2 MMC, Inc. La Palma $1,654,500 <br /> 3 Caliagua, Inc. Yorba Linda $1,755,493 <br /> A total of three bids were received and all were deemed responsive. T.E. Roberts, Inc., submitted <br /> the lowest responsive bid in the amount of $1,528,500 (Exhibit 2). Based on the bid analysis and <br /> a contractor's reference check, staff recommends awarding the construction contract to T.E. <br /> Roberts, Inc., in the amount bid (Exhibit 3). <br /> STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br /> Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 - Community Facilities & <br /> Infrastructure, Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br /> assets), Strategy C (invest resources to extend the service life of existing infrastructure to protect <br /> the City's investment and support a high quality of life standard). <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended actions are <br /> exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. ER-2017-118 <br /> was filed for the project. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> As indicated in the Cost Analysis (Exhibit 4), the estimated total construction delivery cost of the <br /> project is $1,987,050, which includes the construction contract, administration, inspection, <br /> testing, surveying, and an authorized contingency of $229,275. Current project funding in the <br /> amount of $840,980 is available for expenditure in Fiscal Year 2018-19 (Project No. 11-6413, <br /> City Council 23A_20 — 6 5/21/2024 <br />
