5. Contractor shall remove all unauthorized attachments. <br />6. Contractor shall notify City of any graffiti. It is not the Contractor's <br />responsibility to remove graffiti. <br />(i) Maintenance Record: <br />The Contractor shall maintain a record log in each location showing the date and <br />time of any service. It shall consist of: <br />a. Routine Maintenance <br />b. Extraordinary Maintenance <br />All records shall be legibly written or printed. These record logs shall become <br />property of the City. <br />(b) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Camera: <br />(i) Maintenance period: <br />The Contractor shall perform a complete inspection and service of each CCTV <br />once every three (3) months for proper operation and cleanliness. <br />(ii) Maintenance Tasks: <br />• Cabinets (if applicable): <br />Some CCTV locations have dedicated type 332 cabinets. For these locations, <br />the Contractor shall clean the cabinets thoroughly on the inside, including all <br />components. The Contractor shall remove all unauthorized external <br />attachment such as notices, posters, signs, etc. and notify the City of any <br />graffiti that is on the signal equipment. It is not the Contractor's <br />responsibility to remove the graffiti <br />o Ventilation system: <br />The contractor shall ensure that the cabinet's ventilation system is in <br />working order. Ensure that the Thermostat and Fan operates <br />properly. The air filter shall be replaced and dated every 90 days <br />(regardless of condition). <br />o Battery Backup System (if applicable): <br />The Contractor shall ensure that the battery backup system is charged <br />and in working order. <br />• Field Equipment <br />1. The Contractor shall check all poles and standards for damages. <br />2. The contractor shall clean the camera's housing lens or dome as <br />appropriate. <br />a. To minimize scratches or damage to the Video Detection, use a clean <br />microfiber towel, and a polish specifically designed for use on <br />Plexiglas, or other cleaner as recommended by the manufacturer.
