ACCOUNT UNIT ADOPTED <br />FY 23-24 FEES <br />PROPOSED <br />FY 24-25 FEES <br />DEPARTMENT <br />CHANGES <br />PLANNING & BUILDING AGENCY <br />FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 FEE SCHEDULE <br />SECTION X <br />MISCELLANEOUS FEE <br />Waiver of Fee <br />No permit or plan check fees required by this resolution will <br />be charged for public improvement projects performed by <br />construction contractors and subcontractors pursuant to contract <br />with the City of Santa Ana or the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of Santa Ana nor for any work performed by <br />employees of the City in the course of their employment. <br />However, this fee waiver does not exempt any party from <br />obtaining a permit for such work nor exempt such party from <br />conforming to the procedures established by the City nor from <br />compliance with all applicable City and State ordinances <br />regulating such work. <br />Note: The volume for Plan Check activity has been reduced to <br />reflect the fact that contract services and overtime are used to <br />complete a portion of activity. <br />a)Not all re-roofing activities require plan check. Material and current <br />structure design will be the deciding factor. <br />b)This service will be charged an initial deposit and then charged by hourly rate. <br />c) These services were reallocated across fee areas as an overhead. <br />d) Up to 10 racks. Each additional rack will be charged at $13.28 each.13.82 14.46 <br />e) Hourly rates will be charged after the minimum is met, if required. <br />f) This revenue is earmarked for the General Plan Update and is not included in new <br />revenue figures. All plan check services reflect an initial plus two rechecks. Additional <br />reviews will be charged on an hourly basis. Any unique plan check or inspection that does <br />not match a service category will be charged on an hourly basis. <br />Page 75 of 151
