In Re Public Hitching <br />Racks <br /> <br />In Re Paving East <br />Fourth Street <br /> <br />In Re Specifications <br /> <br />No.80,Paving East 4th St <br /> <br />In Re Protest,Paving <br />Eaet Fourth Street <br /> <br />Xn Re Resolution No.562 <br />Paving Wast 4th Street <br /> <br />In Re Paving South <br />Broadway <br /> <br />In Re Specifications <br />Paving South Broadway <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion duly seconded and carried, <br />are named a oorm, ittee <br />hitching racks in the <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Alderman, <br /> <br /> Trustees Grubb and McPhee <br />to procure three suitable places for public <br />City of Santa Ans. <br /> <br />duly seconded and carried, the plans and <br /> <br />profiles as presented by the City Engineer for the paving of Zas~ <br />Fourth Street from the East Zrail of the Main Track of the <br /> <br />Atchison,Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad to <br /> <br />were adopted. <br /> <br />On motion of Alderman, duly seconded and carried, <br /> <br />the East City Limits <br /> <br />Specifications <br /> <br />No.80, for the construction of asphalt concrete pavement in the <br />City of Santa Ana,Oalifornia,on East Fourth Street from the East <br />rail of the main track of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Rail- <br /> <br />way to the East city limits of the <br /> <br />A protest signed by George R.Smith, <br /> <br />City of Santa Aha,were adopted. <br /> <br />et al, protesting again~ the <br /> <br />~avin8 of ~.ast Fourth Street, on the grounds that the State Highway <br />Commiss ion <br />would recognize ~.ast First Street as a imrt of the State Highway <br /> <br />instead of ~aet Fourth Street; the matter of the protest was ordered <br />continued until December 15th,1913,to allow 'the protestants furhte~ <br />time to substantiate their allegati~m. <br /> <br />Resolution No.562 , a Resolution of Intention of the B~rd of <br />~steem of the Oity of S~ta Aha,to pave the roadway of East <br />Fourth Street from the East rail of the main track of the Atchison <br />Topeka and ~n~a Fe Railway to the Eas~ city limits of the City <br />of Santa Ana, and determining that bonds shall be issued to repre- <br />sent ~he cost thereof and as provided under the Bond Act appr~ed <br />Febr~/ E7th, 18~5, was read and on motion duly seconded and <br />carried referred to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Alderman, duly seconded and c~ried, the plans ~d <br />profiles as submitted by the City ~g~eer for ~he ~aving of South <br />Broadway from ~ird Street to ~bbon S~ree~ in the City of Santa <br />Aha, were adopted by the fo~l~ing vote to--it: <br /> <br />Ayes Trustees Alder~n, McPhee, G=eenleaf, Grubb ~d My. <br /> <br />Noes, T~stees, None. <br /> <br />~ motion of Alder~n, ~econded by MoPhee, t~t s~eoifioatione <br />No.80, as adopted for paving ~ast Fourth Street be adopted as the <br />specifications for the paving of ~outh ~oadway from Third Street <br />to ~ubbon Street, was rejected by the following vote : <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees Alder~n, McPhee, <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees Greenleaf, ~ ~d gy. <br /> <br />On motion the Board adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
