No bids were received for grai$ for street De~art~.ent, on motion of ;.~cPhee, seconded by Aldernmn and carried, Trustees Grenleaf and Alderman are appointed a comn~ttse t,~ investigate and purchase gr~in for the Street Department. # No bids w~re received for the tsams for the street Department. . On motion of Alderman,seconded by Greenleaf and earried~ it is ordered, that the contract for the City printing be awarded to the Worden Printing ~ompany. # The Oity ~ngineer reported that it would be necessary to remove about 2E50 cu. yds. to bring South Flower Street to Fairview Avenue. # at an expense of ~0. tograde, from First Btreet On motion the City Clerk is instructed to advertise for bids for collecting garbage and collecting trash in tho Ci~? of Santa Aha f~r the year, 191$-l~bids to be open- ed Sept. lst., 191~ at ?:$0~P.M. the Board rese~ing the right to reject any or ~ll bids. On motion of ~oPhee, seconded by Alderman and carried, it is ordered that new curbing bo left to the discretion of the City Engineer in laying pavement to make the curb face less than 10 inches. On motion of Alderman seconded by HcPhee and ca~ried, ~t is ordered that the petition of J ~ Ziellian et al for extending 8ewer line on Northr~yeamore ~rom its present terminus to Washington Avenue~ be granted, and the City to ~ay for the unpledged frontage. On motion of Creenleaf,seconded by Greenleaf and carried it is ordered that the petition of 0 H Dewaide,petition- ing the Board to level and oil west First Street,from Artesia Street to the westerly City Lim~its was referred to the Street Committee with power to act. #
