On motion the matter was referred to a co,nitres consisting of Trustees Alderman and MoPhee and Fire .Chief Young, Mr. Padgham appear, ed before the Board in reference to numbering houses in the City of Santa Ans. No action taken. The Crystal Cleaning Company asked permission to place four ~anka 4 feet under ground in alley at the back of their new place of business on North Main Street. The matter was referred to a committee consisting of T~usteea Alderm-n and Greenleaf and Fire Chief Young. The Building Inspector certified t~hat the repairs have been made on the Grand Opera House of this City in con- formity with the report and supplemental report of Archi-. tect-l~rank Rudmon and recommend that permission be g~anted to open the building to the public. On motion duly seconded and carried, the report of the Building Inspector is accepted and the request granted. Insurance Policy No.600S4 of the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company on 2 horisontal tubular and 1 Heine water tube boilers for Sss,OOO,policy to run between 12 o'clock noon of the 22nd day of September,191#, and 12 o'clock noon of the 2~nd day of SeE~ember,191S, was on motion of Alderman, seconded by Greenleaf,accepted, and the City Clerk is instructed to draw a warrant on the City Treasurer for #leT.SO, to cover the premium on maid policy.
