Hallman directing the <br /> Board's attention to the dangerous condition of manhole <br /> plates on North Main Street was on motion referred to Supt. <br /> Reid. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> A communication was received from C.H. Plummer,0ounty Pur- <br /> chasing Agent of Los Angelge County, setting forth a propo- <br /> sition whereby the 0ity of Santa Aha could purchase cement <br /> from the County ~f Los Angeles at cost. On motion it is order- <br /> ed that the matter be referred to the Street Committee f~r <br /> investigation. <br /> <br /> The President of the Board having announced this the time for <br /> opening bids for cement sidewalks, curbs and gutters in accord- <br /> ance to the provisions of Resolution No.561, the Clerk was on <br /> motion ordered to proceed to open bids.
