On mo,tiqn of M~Phee, the ~ity Marshall is and seconded by Alderman and carried, instructed to enforce Section 3 and 4 of Ordinsnce No. 16, in reference to Dog Licisnce A property owner from Valenncia Street arpeared before the Board and comrlainsd that three of the prorsrty owners have failed to lay their side-walks. On motion duly seconded and carried the matter is reffersd to tho City Attorney. Mr. YOung, of Young's Cafe, ar. peared before the ~oard andasked permission to install an electric sign in front of his pla3o of business , a sketch of which sign he presented to tho Poard Mr. Alderman made a motion that the request be ~ranted,provided however, ~hat the electric wiring meet the approbation of the City ~lectrician and to be secured to the building to the satisfaction of the Building InsLector. Mr. Alderman's motion was lost }oy tho following vot~s: Ayes:- Alderman and Greenleaf. Nos:- McPhee, Grubb and ~y. On motion of Alderman duly seconded andc~rried, the City 01~rk is instructed to draw warrants on the City Treasurer, ~overin~ den~nn~ '~c~. 4~Z to No. 655, in~lu - stye, and as th~ same Are re¢0rded in Warrant and Demand Book, No. 1, pages 90, 91, 02, and 03. # on motion duly seconded and carried the 0ity Attorney and the 0ity Rl:ctrician are named a committee to draft a new el3ctric sisn ordinance.
