South of the preeen <br /> terminus at Bishop St. <br /> <br /> The motion of Trustee McPhee, that a committee be <br /> appointed in reference to changing the Southern Cal- <br /> ifornia Edison Co. poles for better conditions on <br /> Santa Clara, from Qrand Ave. to the City limits, <br /> was duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, President <br /> appointing Trustees McPhee, ~reenleaf, Maryatt and <br /> Street Supt. Obrien as such committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McPhee. duly seconded and carr- <br /> ied, the Clerk was instructed to notify the So. Cal. <br /> Edison Co. to change the light at 2nd and Shelton <br /> from a bracket to center suspension. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatl <br /> and carried, the local Order of Redmen were granted <br /> permission to hold an indoor carnival and street <br /> parade under the Supervision of the Marshall and hie <br /> subordinantee on May ~Sth u~ Z6th. <br /> <br /> On motion of True.tee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryat' <br /> and carried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise <br /> for sealed bids for 60 tons of barley ~ and 20 ton~ <br /> of alfalfa hay. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, Street Supt. OBrien was instructed to <br /> <br /> · necessary number of festoon Orange Ave. <br />in order to straighten said St. near Bishop St. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatl <br />and carried, the City Attorney was instructed to <br />write Mr. Paul Shoup,Pof the P.E.Ry. in reference to <br />paving thei~ right of way on ~th St. between Ross <br />Baker. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carr- <br />ied, City Attorney Scott was instructed to notify <br />Mr.Waseerman,looal S.P.Agent, to at once have <br />their railroad crossings on First and ~th ets. <br />repaired permamently. <br /> <br /> <br />
