Upon motion cf Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, the petition of property owners to pave Patton St. from H~okeF to the South line of Washington Ave. under Specifications No.~2 was denied. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the petition of property ownere fronting cn Bush St. between Washington Ave. and 20th St. to have eald portion of Street paved under Specifications ~O, wasdenied. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the Olerk was instructed to draw warrants upon the City Treasurer to cover demands NO.16]$ to l$1~,inc. as audited at Finance meeting May 4th. An Ordinance pertaining to the license and regulation of box ba~ll and bowling alleys and repealing eection 1} of Ordinance No.516 and subdivision "d" of Section ~ cf Ordinance No.~90 was given first reading, and was on motion cf Trustee ~reenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and c~rried, referred to the City Attorney. An Ordinance amending Ordinance No.~6 pertaining to the regulation cf plumbing and a~lding a new Section thereto to be known as Section 1~} and pertaining to the ventila- tion of gas heaters, was given final reading, and upon motion of Trustee McPhee, that same be adopted was duly seconded by Maryatt and passed by the following vote: Trueteee Tuhbe, McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt and Vlsel, ~yes, Noee, # Trustees None. The committee consisting of Trustees McPhee, Greenleaf &nd Sewer Supt. Reid appointed in reference to needs ~ an cutfall sewer, recommended that further steps in secur- ing em outfall sewer be postponed indefinitely; this report was adopted on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Mamyatt and carried, and all proceedings calling a bond election for am outfall sewer was dropped. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by ~reenleaf and carried, City Atty. Scott wa~ instructed to at once write the Pacific Electric Ry. officials in reference to the North Main St. bridge to find out Just what proportion of the cost they are willing to pay for the construction of ·
