Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Visel. Present, Trustees Tubbs,MoBhee, Greenleaf,Maryatt, Minutes Sf Sept. l?th and 2~th read and approved. Santa Ann, City Hall, Oct. 1, 1917, 7;30 p.m. Visel and the Clerk. In Re Park Custodian's Salary In Re P. E. Bond In Re Monthly Reports In Re Demands In Re Contract of Agreement with School Board In Re Refuse from cannery In Re Refuse and paper cans In Re Bristol St. paving Messrs. Minter and Pomeroy of the Park Committee were before the Board in reference to payin-g the Park Custodian $125.00 per month, all extra labor for the upkeep of parks to be paid by him. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly second. ed by Greanles~f, this recommendation was accepted to be paid as follows: $100.00 from the General Fund and $25.00 from the Park Fund per month. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf the bond of the P.E. Ry. Co. with the United States Fidelity & Guaranty Co. as surety, the same covering Ordinance No.62~, adopted and passed by the Board Sept. 24, 1917, was referred to the President of the Board for approval. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee, the monthly reports of the City Recorder,Bldg. Inspector,Fire Chief and Marshal were referred to the Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants on the Treasurer for all demands as audited. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs, the contract of agreement with the School Board in reference to to leasing for well purposeeAthe Water Dept. part of the Llncol: School grounds was referred back to the City Attorney for correction. The motion of Trustee MoPhee that the President appoint a committee to investigate the conditions for handling the refuse from the cannery on East First Bt. and the o~u~e of waste water running on Main St. from the Dairy &t First and Main, was duly seconded by Trustee Greenleaf, and carried, Trustees MoPhee and Greenleaf being appointed as such com- mittee. On motion duly seconded and carried, Trustees McPhse and Greenleaf were appointed a committee to purchase a can for refuse to be placed on Broadway near 4th, and four cane for paper to be placed on 4th St. On motion of Trustee McPhes, duly seconded by Tubbs, City Engineer Bonebrake and City Attorney Scott were instructed
