Bweetser for the appointment as a POliCe <br />officer was on motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Greenleaf <br />ordered filed. <br /> <br />The statement of the P.E. Ry. Co. accompanied by a voucher for <br />$269.3g showing the amount due under Franchise Tax Ordinance <br /> <br />was accepted on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenles <br />and carried. <br /> <br />A petition signed by abutting property <br /> <br />real property upon the certain part of <br /> <br />owners owning all the <br />llth St. lying East cf <br /> <br />Spurgeon St. asking the Board to vacate that aforesaid part of <br />llth St. was on motion o~ Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />re£erred tO a committee of the whole for careful investigation. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Green]ear, <br /> <br />the bond of the International Electric Co. for $500.00 with the <br />National Surety Co. as surety was on motion of Trustee Maryatt <br />duly seconded by Greenleaf referred to the President of the <br /> <br />Board for approval. <br /> <br />The protest and complaint of A.M. ~tarkey <br />for the installation of an electric motor <br />ordered filed on motion of Trustee ~cPhee, <br />Tubbs and carried. <br /> <br />against the charges <br /> in his shop was <br /> duly seconded by <br /> <br />The application of Francisca F. de Saldana for a restaurant <br />license in order to open up the Spanish Eltchen was denied on <br />motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Oreenleaf and carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
