On motion of T~ustee I~Abbe, duly seconded by Greenle~ and carried, the matter of driveways into the oil filling station at 5th and Sycamore Sts. was referred to a committee, the chair appointing Trueteem Maryatt and Tubbs and Street Supt. # On motion of Trustee Tubhs, 0'Brien as such committee dul7 seconded by Maryatt~ the Clerk was instructed to order two oars of cement from the Pacific Electric Co. for Chris MoNelll, delivered in Santa Aha for the construction of the North Main St. bridge. On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, that it ia the sense of the Board that Trustee MoPhee and Water Supt.Reid a~t as & oommitte~ with power to tot in disposing of material in wreokil North Main St. bridge. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, City Attorney Scott was instructed to make a settlement with 0.F.Heil in reference to the ~a~~of J.W.Grigsby of the Street Dept. when the Doctor says Grigsby is ready for work again. On motion of Trustee Tuhbs, duly seconded by Greenle~.f and carried, the Mayor's office in the City Hall is to be turned over to recruiting of naval reserves free of charge, as long as so needed by them. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by M~yatt the Clerk was instructed to ~aw w~z~ts on the Treasurer to cover the dem~ ~ audited to aOS~ inclusive. The Co~ittee ~pointed on ~endlng the Electric Ord:- n~ce reported that the Ordin~oe be not ~ended ~d upon motion of Trustee M~yatt, duly seconded o~ried, the report of the Oo~lttee w~ approved. A motion by Trustee Tubbs to ~Journ ~o J~y ~th 191~ , at ~:}0 p.m. in the Co~cil Ch~ber, was duly seconded by M~yatt ~d o~ried.
