O'Brien was instructed to improve by bringing to a <br />decent grade and shape Oak St. from First to Chestnut in <br />order that said portion of street may be oiled and sanded. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe, the <br />Clerk was instructed to notify the Southern Counties Gas Co. <br />to take proper care of their gas main on North Flower St. <br />at once,in order not to interfere with the construction of <br />North Flower St. bridge, work to be done in such a manner <br />ae to not inconvenience the City at large. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf,the <br /> Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant on the Treasurer for <br /> $25.00, from the Advertising Fund in favor of the Entertain- <br /> ment committee, the same being for entertainment of boys <br /> in the draft leaving for training camps. <br /> <br /> A communication from Wells & Bressler, requesting that the <br /> Board relieve them from signing the contract for paving <br /> Bristol St. from the City Limits on the South to Fifth St. <br /> on the North, claiming that the proceedings for improving <br /> said portion of street were defective in many respects. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and oarri <br />that the President pro tom appoint & committee to take up the <br />matter and get additional legal advice on the same; the Chair <br />appointed Trustees MoPhee,Tubbs,and Greenleaf, City Attorney <br />Scott and City Engineer Bonebrake aa such committee. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />A motion by Trustee Greenleaf to adjourn to Wednesday July 10 <br />191g, at ?:30 p.m. was duly ~e~y Tu~bs and carried. <br /> <br /> of <br /> <br />~d <br /> <br />;h <br /> <br /> <br />
