In Re <br /> <br />warrants For Liberty Bonds <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Wagon For Street Department. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance ~635, amending Ordinance ~441. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Instructions T~ Street Supt. <br /> <br />Contractors. <br /> <br />On Private <br /> <br /> Ba~ks: let National, Farmers & Merchants <br /> National, California National and Orange <br /> County Savings and Trust Company, to the <br /> amount of $2,000.00 each. The above motion <br /> was duly seconded by Tubbe and passed by the <br /> following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Trustees Tubbe, McPhee, and Visel. <br /> Noes: Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Not Voting: Trustee Maryatt. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustee Greenleaf. <br /> <br /> Trustee Maryatt'e amendment to the above motic <br /> that $10,O00.O0 be bought instead of $~,OOO.0¢ <br /> not receiving a second, was lost. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McPhee duly seconded by <br /> Maryatt, the Clerk was instructed to draw <br /> wart%rite on the Treasurer in favor of each of <br /> the four banks for the necessary Liberty Bonds <br /> of Two Thousand Dollars each. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />A motion by Trustee McPhee that a committee <br />be appointed in reference to purchasing a <br />wagon for the Street Department was duly <br />seconded by Tubbs and carried. Trustees <br />McPhee and Tubb$ and Street ~upt. O'Brlen wet <br />appointed aa such committee. <br /> <br />Ordinance ~35, an ordinance adding a new <br />section to ordinance ~1 to be known aa eeo- <br />tion 1~ and providing for a permit from the <br />Supt. of Streets before making excavations in <br />the streets and alleys of the city was given <br />final reading, and on motion Sf Trustee Tubhl <br />duly seconded by Maryatt that same be adopted <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Trustees Tuhhs, McPhee, Maryatt & Vleel <br />Noes: Trustees none. ' <br />Absent: Trustee Greenleaf. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee duly seconded by <br />Tubbe and carried Street Supt. O'Bzien was <br />instructed to notify all private contractors <br />that they must conform to the ordinance and <br />file new bonds before lseueing a permit for <br />excavating in the streets e~ alleys. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />A motion by Trustee MoPhee to adjourn was <br />duly seconded by Tubbs and carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
