City Hall, <br /> <br /> Oct. 6th, l~l~o ?;~c p.m. <br /> <br />Board met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by President Mitchell. <br /> <br />Present, Trustees Tubbe,Chapmen,Dale, and Greenleaf. <br /> <br />Minutes of the meetings of Sept.15th,22nd, 29th, and October let,read, <br />Sept. <br /> <br /> and Minutes of <br />22nd, amended in reference to adjournment, the words 'and carried' being inserted. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application Restaurant,License <br /> <br />Mrs. Caeeldy <br /> <br />The application of Mrs. Ida Caasldy for a restaurant <br />license at 1026 East 4th St. called Depot Restaurant, <br />was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by <br />Chapman and carried, referred to the Police Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded b7 Chapman that <br />the report of the Police Committee that the license be <br />denied, carried. <br /> <br />In Re The application of the U.S. Coffee Store, <br /> <br />Application to hang electric signs and the Crown Stage Depot, N.Main St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request of S.A.V.I.Oo. <br /> <br />petition <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Permit to circulate <br /> <br />Wells & Braseler <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Permit to close West 2nd St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bonds, Wells a Breesler, <br /> <br />West 2nd St. paving <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly reports <br /> <br />220 West 4th St. <br />a~king ~ <br />permits to hang electric signs, was on motion of Trustee <br />Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf, referred to the Fire <br />committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Tubbs .and <br /> <br />erect a pipe line suspension bridge across Santiago Creek <br />near the Flower St. bridge, was referred to the City Atty. <br />and City Engineer. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Dale, the <br />request of Wells & Breaeler to circulate a petition and <br />contract for rook and oil paving specifications No.~2, on <br />Parton North of Hickey, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tuhbs, duly seconded by Chapman and <br />carried, the request of Wells & Brassler for a permit tc <br />close West 2nd St. in order to proceed with the improvement <br />as per their contract, was granted. <br /> <br />The bonds of Wells a Breesler, consisting of $500 liberty <br />Loan bonds, surety for paving City property on West 2nd St. <br />were ordered filed with the Clerk,on motion of Trustee <br />Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried. <br /> <br />The monthly reports of the Marshal,Street Supt. Sanitary <br />Inspector, Recorder, Building Inspector,and Fire Chief <br />were on motion of Trustee ~ubbs, dudy seconded by Chapman <br />and carried referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
