Rolph for a permit to conduct a <br />skating rink at the A~mory Hall on Birch Bt. was on motion <br />of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by CSapman referred <br />to the Police Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by bale and <br />ca, tied, the application of Sam Bnyder for a license to <br />conduct a Junk shop at 921 W.Hlghland Bt. was referred to <br />the Police Committee. The committee reported unfavorable <br />on the application and upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, <br />duly seconded by Dale and carried, same was denied. <br /> <br />A commun~cation from the Western Indemnity Co. giving ~otioe <br />that the Auto Insumance policies on file with the City would <br />continue in full force and effect until further notice. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, <br />same was ordered placed on file for future reference. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman and <br /> carried, the request of the Cope Electric Co. to hang an <br /> electric sign for Ham,s Garage,316 W.Sth, was granted under <br /> the supervision of the City Electrician. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman, <br /> the request of George Feles to hang an electric sign at <br /> the N.E.Cor. Sth and Main sra. for the Columbia Ca£e, was <br /> granted subject to t~e sign Ordinance and approval of <br /> the City Electrician. <br /> <br /> The application of L.C.Rogera for a position on the Police <br /> force was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by <br /> Chapman, acce~ed and placed on file for future reference. <br /> <br /> The request of the Orange Co. Engineer& Construct. Ce. <br /> <br /> to circulate a petition for paving Orange Ave. from the <br /> end of the present paving to McFadden Bt.,and on Ba~er <br /> from 5th to Washington Ave. under Bpec.~2, cn motion of <br /> Trustee Chapman, duly ascended by Tubbs and carried, the <br /> request was denied on accotdut of the expense of sewer and <br /> water conditions on above portion of streets at this time. <br /> <br /> <br />
