Santa Aha, City Hall, Nov.3,1919, 7;30 p.m. Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Mitchell. Present, Trustees Tubbe,Ohapman, Dale and Greenleaf. Minutes of Oct.2Oth approved ae read. In Re Application for Skating Rink License In Re Application for Junk License In Re Comm~nlcat;Western Indemn. Co. In Re Permit to hang sign Ham's garage In Re Permit to hang George Feles electric sign In Re Application L.C.Rogers In Re Application to circulate petition The application of A.B. Rolph for a permit to conduct a skating rink at the A~mory Hall on Birch Bt. was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by CSapman referred to the Police Committee. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by bale and ca, tied, the application of Sam Bnyder for a license to conduct a Junk shop at 921 W.Hlghland Bt. was referred to the Police Committee. The committee reported unfavorable on the application and upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and carried, same was denied. A commun~cation from the Western Indemnity Co. giving ~otioe that the Auto Insumance policies on file with the City would continue in full force and effect until further notice. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, same was ordered placed on file for future reference. On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the request of the Cope Electric Co. to hang an electric sign for Ham,s Garage,316 W.Sth, was granted under the supervision of the City Electrician. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman, the request of George Feles to hang an electric sign at the N.E.Cor. Sth and Main sra. for the Columbia Ca£e, was granted subject to t~e sign Ordinance and approval of the City Electrician. The application of L.C.Rogera for a position on the Police force was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman, acce~ed and placed on file for future reference. The request of the Orange Co. Engineer& Construct. Ce. to circulate a petition for paving Orange Ave. from the end of the present paving to McFadden Bt.,and on Ba~er from 5th to Washington Ave. under Bpec.~2, cn motion of Trustee Chapman, duly ascended by Tubbs and carried, the request was denied on accotdut of the expense of sewer and water conditions on above portion of streets at this time.
