Street Supt. <br />Bl dg. Inspector,Sanitary inspector and Fire Chief were on <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />carried, referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants on the <br />City Treasurer to cover the demands a~ audited and the demand <br />of the Orange Ce. Engineering and Construct. Co. for $1905.12 <br />first estimate on Grand Ave. paving be drawn from the Spec. <br />Property Tax Fund. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the request of property owners near 6th and Pacific <br />Ave. ~o haws the street light changed from 6th and Pacific <br />to some distsnce East on 6th was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenle~ and <br /> <br />carried, the map of Palm Court in the eastern part of the <br />City was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br />carried, that a committee be appointed including Sewer Supt. <br />Wray, City Engineer Hey,City Attorney Scott, to interview <br />the So. Cai if. Sugar Co. in matters pertaining to sewer con- <br /> <br />dltions, Trusteei Chapman, <br />as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, <br />by the £ollowing vote, Ayes, <br /> <br />Scott, Wray and Hey were appointed <br /> <br />duly seconded by Dale and carried$ <br />Trustees Tubbs,Chapman, and Dale, <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees Greenleaf and Mitchell, <br />is to receive in the future $50.00 per <br />of $50.O0 per month as long as <br />building permits. <br /> <br /> the Building Inspector <br /> <br /> month salary and fees <br />fees run $100 per month for <br /> <br />President Mitchell announced that this was the date set for <br />opening bids received for furnishing the City with a truck and <br />trailer for the garbage collections o£ the Health Dept. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, and <br />carried, instructions ~o ope~ bids were given. <br /> <br />The following bids were opened: | <br /> Moreland Motor Truck Ce.for 1~ Ton N~reland chassis,S2451.15 <br /> Spencer,Morse & Mang, Selden Truck chassis $250~.00 <br /> John L.Wheeler,Pankard truck chassis, $363~.O0 <br /> Hull Motor Truck Co.Mast~r truck chassis, $240~.00 <br /> <br /> " " " " Trailer chassie $ 37~.O0 <br /> Damewood & Chapmar~Mack truck chassis ~31~.2~ <br /> White Auto Ce.
