Bl dg. Inspector,Sanitary inspector and Fire Chief were on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, referred to the Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants on the City Treasurer to cover the demands a~ audited and the demand of the Orange Ce. Engineering and Construct. Co. for $1905.12 first estimate on Grand Ave. paving be drawn from the Spec. Property Tax Fund. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the request of property owners near 6th and Pacific Ave. ~o haws the street light changed from 6th and Pacific to some distsnce East on 6th was denied. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenle~ and carried, the map of Palm Court in the eastern part of the City was approved. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, that a committee be appointed including Sewer Supt. Wray, City Engineer Hey,City Attorney Scott, to interview the So. Cai if. Sugar Co. in matters pertaining to sewer con- dltions, Trusteei Chapman, as such committee. On motion of Trustee Chapman, by the £ollowing vote, Ayes, Scott, Wray and Hey were appointed duly seconded by Dale and carried$ Trustees Tubbs,Chapman, and Dale, Noes, Trustees Greenleaf and Mitchell, is to receive in the future $50.00 per of $50.O0 per month as long as building permits. the Building Inspector month salary and fees fees run $100 per month for President Mitchell announced that this was the date set for opening bids received for furnishing the City with a truck and trailer for the garbage collections o£ the Health Dept. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, and carried, instructions ~o ope~ bids were given.
