Oo.amounting <br />to $2?2.53 due under Franchise Tax Ordinance ~.3gl, was <br />accepted. <br /> <br />The application of Harry Silvermsn for a permtt to conduct <br />the business of buying and selling new end second hand <br />clothing, etc. at 314 N.Main St. was on motion of Trustee <br />Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, referred to <br /> <br />a committee. Trustees Chapman and Greenleaf belr~ appointed <br />as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman and <br />carried, the report of City Attorney Scott relative to the <br />P.F.Ry. franchise for a power line on South Main St. was <br />ordered filed for future reference. <br /> <br />A petition signed by more than 100 property owners on <br /> <br />South Main from First to the City Limits on the South asking <br />the Board to take the necessary steps for the removal of the <br />high voltage line of the P.E.Company from said street, <br />the same being a menace to the lives and property situated <br />along said street. <br /> <br />~n motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br /> <br />carrled, same was placed on file for <br />The committee appointe~ in reference <br /> <br />future reference. <br /> <br />to West Chestnut Ave <br /> <br />conditions in the Shaw-Russell Tract not agreeing as to <br />opening of same through the tract, the committee was on <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, discharged. A vote being taken on the motion of <br />T~uetee Dale, duly seconded by Ohapman, that the map be <br />accepted when properly prepared and a bond properly executed <br />for $500.00, and same be approved by the Board, resulted in <br />the ~ol]owing vote: Ayes, Trustees Chapman and Dale. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees Greenleal~ and Mitchell. Absent,Trustee Tubbs, <br />On motion o£ Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the matter was finally reX'erred to a committee of <br /> <br />the whole to report at next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of <br />and carried, <br /> <br />Trustee GreenleaK, duly seconded by Chapman <br /> <br />the bid of the Moreland Motor Truck ~o. to <br /> for <br /> a 1~ Ton <br /> <br />furnish the Health Dept. ~ ~-arbage collections <br />truck chassis for $24~2.15, was accepted. <br /> <br /> <br />
