W. Williams & D. Biswae for <br />permiaeinn to conduct a Laundry on a small scale <br />at their private home, N. Flower Street. On motion <br />of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Greenleaf and oar- <br />tied, the matter was referred to a committee. Trusts, <br />Tubbs and Greenle~f being appointed ae such com- <br />mittee. <br /> <br />In th~matter of the application of the Nioholl-toomil <br />Company for permission to use a small amount of pow- <br />der to blow out a cement base at the corner of ~nd <br />and Broadway was granted on motion of Trustee Chap- <br />man du2y seconded by Dele and carried, under the <br />supervision of A. E.. Mawlay and the Nioholl-Loomis <br />Company -ho are to he held for any damages caused <br />by same. <br /> <br />Astatement from the ?stifle Tel. & Tel. Company <br />accompanied ~y a voucher for $1,g32.13 franchise <br />tax for the year ending Aughst 19th, ~921, was a~cep~ <br />ed on motion of Trustee Tuhbs duly seconded by Greem~ <br />leaf and carried, and the Clerk instructed to depos- <br />it same with the Treasurer to the credit of the <br />General Fund. <br /> <br />A majority <br />Quested at <br /> <br />of the Park Committee were present,a~ re- <br />the last meeting of the Board and the <br />matter of uniform tree planting for parkings was <br />taken up. On motion of Trustee Chapman duly second- <br />ed by Ds~ e and carried, City Attorney Scott was in- <br />structed to draft an Ordinance defining the duties <br />of the P~rk Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
