On motion of Trustee Collier, seconded by McPhee and carried, City Engineer Enox was instructed to investigate and report at nSxt meeting on matter of defective .drainage on F~st First ~treet east of railr~d tracks. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by 6"napman and carried, City Engineer was authorized to furn~h irrigatior pipe to the co~trsctor to reolace that torn up during i~prov~t of West 1Vth St., furnishing of this pi~ by city being an exceptim~ in order not to delay improvement of ~ rest. Trustee Collier ~rtroduced a resolution adopting plans and specifications for the improvement cf Valencia ~treet from Edgewood Road to 1000 ft. North a North line of Ed~wood Road. The resolution was o~dered filed, read, co~slde~d, designated Resolution No. 1~7 and passed by the following vote: Ayes: Noes: Absent: Tx~stees C.M.b~hapman, Geo. McPhee, E.B.Collier, Nat H. Neff, Trustees None, Trustees None. An ordinance entitled "An ordinance of tbs c~ty of Santa A~ Calif., accepting certain streets thereof on behalf of the City and fixing ~nd establishing the grade thereof" came for final consideration, was r~sd~ considered, designated 0rdinsnce No.~ VS~ and passed by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees C.R.Cgmpmsn, Geo.
