In Re Southern Ca]if. Lighting. In Re ADpolntment Df.Cushman Board of Hea~th. In Re Application denied Mrs. Lee Arteagabeitia. In Re Map Tract No. V31. A communication from F~ox & Stout with reference to leasing to the City of San~a Aaa, dump ground on West Fifth Street formerly leased from Harper Bros. was read On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Chapman and carried, the matter was raveen under advisement and tbs Chair authorized to appoint a committee to investigate: Trustees Purinton, Chapman and McPhee were appointed as Committee. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Ocllier and carried, application cf W. A. Armstrong and F. O. for permission to conduct pool hall at 901 East Fourth Street was ~eferred to the Police Committee. On motion of Trustee IcPhee, secomded by Purinton and carried, Ro~rtson Electric Company was.- ~ranted per- mission to hang electric sign for ~ill and Carden at 112 West Fourth Street InspectOro On motion of T~ustee carried, Committee's under supervision of Electric Chapman, seconded by Collier and report on street lighting together with tabulated list of lighting charges was accepted and ordered filed for future reference. On motion of T~ustee Purinton, seconded by ~cPhee and carried, Dr. R, A. Cushman was appointed as a r~ember ~f the Board of ~ealth to fill vacancy created by resign- atio~ of Mr. Purinton. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded b20ollter and carried, application of Mrs. Lee Arteagabeitia for permission to demonstrate sewing machine attachment on street was denied. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded b20ollier and carried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the Board's approval to ~ap of ?tact No. ~1.
