On motion of Trustee Purlnton, seconded by Chapman and carried, announcement was accepted placed on file. On motion o~ Trustee Chapman, seconded by Purinton and carried, communication from the Secret~ry of the South Coast As~ ciation urging that representatives from Samta ~a accompany party of men from Orange County on a tour through Canada, was referred to the Chmaber of Commerce. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Purinton and carried, application of City Junk & Wrecking Co. /%from a point outside the City to 1800 block on W. 5th St. was referred to the Police -nd Street Committee to report back at next meeting. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by McPhee and carried, Cope Electric Co?~p~uy was granted permission to hang electric sign for Harnois Co. at 514 W. 4th Street, under supervision of City Eloctrici,~n. On motion of Trustee Purlaton, seconded by ~hapman and carried, application of Cris Sorenson to conduct a lunch counter in A & B Bowling Alley at 809 W.4th Street was referred to the police Committee. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Chapman and carried, applications of Robt.~V. Bodell and ~ A. Owen for appointment as police C~ficers were re- ferred to the Police Committee. W
