On motion of T~uetee Purinton, seconded by Men'nee sad' carried, request of Chamber of Commerce for $25.00 cover- ing 2000 advertising folders was ranted and Clerk instructed to draw warrant covering, ales warrant in amount of $8.00 was snthorized to cover engineering work on map used for nublieity bythe City; both warrants to be drawn from Advertls~ng Fund. On motion of Trustee Purist on, seconded by Chapman md carried, aopllcstion of O. V. Dart for permit to move house from 5th & Spurgeon ate, to 10th & Oarnsey Sts. was referred to s Committee: Trustees Purlnton, McPhee, Collier and Street Superintendent were appointed se ~eh Committee. # On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Purinton and carried, report of Health Department for the month of referred to the Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee Purist on, sew nded by McPhee and carried, bond of Cart & Hathaway in ~ount of $500.00 for house moving was referred to the Chair for approval or disapproval. A petition was presented from property owners on West 1Vth Street requesting construction of sidewalk on said Street from Ro~s to Baker Street to acco,modate school children attending Jefferson School. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Chapmen and carried~ peti- tion wac referred to s Committee for checking and recommendation. Committee was also instructed to bring ~n recoe~endation reference ~idewalk on ~ea-~e~ ~to from 10th to Washington. - Trustees Purlnton, McPhee, Collier and Street Su~rintendent were anpointed as Committee. On motion 6f Trustee Chapman, sewnded by Collier and carried, contract for drilling well for the City was awarded to J.H.Mefford ns the lowest responsible bidder, st the ~rioe named in bis bid, and City Attorne2 instruo to dre~ contract covering. On motion of Trustee McPhee, sounded by Purinton and carried, street lights were authorized at intersection Orange Ave and Hobart St. and one light on Hslesworth between Main and Hiverine.
