C, ty ~n~Ineer Neff re,outed that more t~en <br />50% of the f~ontage involved w~e repreQented by <br />the ~etltions. 0n motion of Trumtee Purinton, <br />seconded by Chapman and carried, plans and <br />specifications covering above improvementm were <br />ordered drawn. <br /> <br />0n motion of Trustee Chain, seconded by Collier <br /> <br />~nd carried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise <br /> <br />for bids for 8554 <br />4 inch water pipe <br />No. 6; bids to be <br /> <br />ft. Bf nix inch end 4246 ft. of <br />to be paid for out o~ Wa~dr Bonds <br />opened November 2nd. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Purlnton, seconded by Chapman <br />and carried, pa~ent of bill rendered by A.O.Flagg <br />in amount of $145 for Santa Aaa Folders was authorized <br />from Advertising Fund. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Co31ier <br /> <br />sad carried, petition for ornamental l~.hts on East <br />Fourth Street was referred bask to petitioners. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Co21ier <br />end carried, following communication from City <br />Engineer Neff was accepted en~ recommendation <br />therein adopted by the Board: <br /> <br /> "! would respectfully recommend that all <br />petitions for ornamental llgbting system~----be sub- <br />mitted to tbe Board of Trustees before being cir- <br />culated among the property owners. <br /> <br /> It is my personal op~nlon that these ~etltions <br />should have the recommend,tlon of the Board of <br />Trustees in order that tbs lighting standards will <br />be unifol~m over a given district. <br /> <br /> The petition should also carry a photograph as <br />well as n description of the proposed post, and <br />should be accompanied with a close estimate of the <br />cost of the proposed system installed oar front foot.a <br /> <br /> <br />
