Cole to install 550 <br /> <br />gal. gasoline tank at 1801 ~. 5th Street, was granted <br />under supervision of Fire Chief. <br /> <br />A protest signed by property ovmers on Palm Avenue <br />and representing 1295 feet frontage, was read against <br />the paving of Palm Avenue from Nright to Mabury. On <br />motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Knox and carried <br />protest was filed fc~ future reference. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and <br />carried, the City Clerk and President of the City <br />Council were authorized to sign agreement with the <br />County of Orange and to pay the sum of $1.00 per year <br />for the inspection of premises within the City where <br />animals are slaughtered or prepared for food purpose <br />also all retail meat and fish markets, etc.,by the <br />County Meat Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car <br />ried, the opinion of the Railroad Commission was ac- <br />cepted and Ordered filed for future reference, rela- <br />tive to the hearing in the matter of application of <br />the City for an order to install crossings of public <br />streets, across the P.E. Railyay at Harwood, Bishop <br />and Grant in the City of Santa Ans. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, two bonds of the Marbelite Corporation in <br />the amount of $500.00 each for the erection'of light- <br />ing posts and fixtures in the City, were referred to <br />the Chair for approval of disapproval. <br /> <br />This being the day and hour set forth in the Notice <br />of Hearing on application for permit for erection of <br />Gasoline Service Station under Special Use made by <br />Richfield 0il Company at 1902 N. Main Street. Pro- <br />tests were presented signed by property owners and <br />residents in the vicinity of 19th and Main Streets <br />against the issuance of special permit to erect ser- <br />vice station. On ~ecommendation of the Planning Com- <br />mission and on motion of Trustee McBride, seconded b <br />Goode and carried, the application of Richfield 0il <br />Company and Dr. F.W. Slabaugh to erect service stati <br />at 1902 N. Main Street was granted and protests were <br />denied. <br /> <br /> <br />
