Fredricks of the Long Beach Press Telegram appeare~ <br />before the City Council with reference to advertising <br />the City of Santa Ana in a special midwinter issue to <br />be published by the Press Telegram. On motion of Tru,. <br />tee Goode, seconded by Kelly and carried, the matter <br />of advertising was referred to the City Manager with <br />power to act. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, the communication from the United Presbyteri~ <br />Church Committee expressing their appreciation of the <br />stand the City Cotmcil took r~lative to the Turkey <br />Tussle, was accepted and placed on file. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Knox and car- <br />ried, the con~nunication from the Armistice Day Corm~it- <br />tee expressing their apprecistion of the cooperation <br />and participation in the Armistice Day Parade, was ac- <br /> <br />cepted and placed on file. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Knox, <br />tied, the application of L. <br /> <br />seconded by Kelly and car- <br /> <br /> C. Luhr to install 280 gsl <br /> <br />ion gasoline tank at 2100 N. Bristol Street, for pri- <br />vate use, was granted under the supervision of the <br />Fire Chief. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and <br />carried, the applications of F.D. Robinson and I. <br />Davenport for permits to engage in the business of <br />}~erchant Police in the City of Santa Ana, were referre¢ <br />to the Chief of Police and the City Manager, to report <br />back in one week. <br /> <br />0~ motion of Trustee Ooode, seconded by Knox and car- <br />ried, Pacific Electric voucher in amount of $442.25 <br />covering franchise tax for year ending November qth, <br />192~, was accepted and the Clerk instructed to deposit <br /> <br /> <br />
