Bower requestin <br />permission to construct a Warehouse and Shop to assem <br />ble Walnut Dehydrators at 2600 N. Flower Street. On <br />motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Knox and carried. <br />the application was referred to the Planning Commis- <br />sion for action. On motion of Trustee McBride, secon <br />dod by Goode and carried, the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission was accepted and the application <br />of G.I. Bower was denied on the ground that such <br />building would be detrimental to the particular neigh. <br />borhood in which it was. to be erected. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Kelly and <br />carried, the petition for sanitary sewer on Seventh <br />Street between Bristol and Artesia Street was granted <br />and the Engineer was instructed to prepare plans and <br />specifications for the installation of a sewer on <br />Seventh Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Knox, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, deed for sewer purposes was accepted from <br /> <br />Joseph Krock and Wife and <br />to have same recorded. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, <br /> <br />the Clerk was instructed <br /> <br />seconded by Goode and car~ <br /> <br />tied, and on recommendation of the Manager and the <br />Chief of Police, the application, s of F. D. Robinson <br />and I. Davenport were ~ranted with the provision that <br />they Secure State Licenses to carry on the business <br />of Merchant Police in the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Knox, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> <br />ried, all bids on the Central Fire Station were re- <br />Jected and the Clerk instructed to return all checks <br /> <br /> <br />
