Hasenjaeger, <br /> <br />~n Re <br /> <br />Appointment <br /> <br />ElectricalExamining Board. <br /> <br />An application was presanted signed by Estella M. <br />Wilsen, requesting the re-zoning of Lots 8 and 9, <br />Block 2, Palmer Addition located on S. Sycamore Street <br />so as to permit the erection of a business building. <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, the application of Estella M. Wilsen was re- <br />ferred to the Planning Commission and the Clerk was <br />instructed to post property in the vicinity described. <br />All persons interested to appear or file written pro- <br />tests before the Planning Commission and the City Coun. <br />cil at a joint hearing to be held December t2th at <br />7:30 P.M. in the CounCil Chamber. <br /> <br />Petitions were presented signed by property owners on <br />Seventeenth Street between Main and Broadway, request- <br />lng that that portion of Seventeenth Street be re-zone( <br />for business and widened ten feet on each side of <br />street and providing a set back line of five feet. On <br />motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Knox and carried, <br />petitions were referred to the Planning Commission and <br />the Clerk was instructed to post property. All person~ <br />interested to appear or' file written protests before <br />the Planning Commission and the City Council at a <br />joint hearing to be held December 19th at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Kelly and <br />carried, the City Engineer and Attorney were instructe, <br />to prepare necessary proceedings to widen Seventeenth <br />Street between Main and Broadway, ten feet on each sid, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Knox, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the reports of the City Officers for the month <br />of November were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was authorized to draw warrants accord. <br />ing to demands as audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />On recon~endation of the City Manager and on motion of <br />Trustee Goode, seconded by Knox and carried, A. C. <br />Hasenjaeger was appointed Secretary of the Water Depari <br />ment at a salary of $1V5.00 per month. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the City Manager and on motion of <br />Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and carried, Herbert <br />Haynes, Calvin M. Gilbert and W. O. Packard were ap- <br />pointed to act as the Electrical Examining Board in <br />compliance with the Electric Code now in effect. <br /> <br /> <br />
