No. 2135 <br /> <br />Petition--Annexation <br /> <br />Wright Street Addition. <br /> <br /> A strip of land ten (10) feet wide lying Westerly of <br /> and immediately adjacent to the Westerly llne of Flower <br /> Street and extending from the Westerly extended Southerly <br /> line of Santa Clara Avenue to the Santiago Creek. <br /> Also a strip of land ten (10) feet wide lying Easterly <br /> of ardimmediately adjacent to the Easterly line of Flower <br /> Street from the Northerly line of Santa Clara Avenue to <br /> the Santiago Creek, except all portions of said strip of <br /> land heretofore deeded for street purposes. <br /> That Flower Street between a line at right angles to <br />the center line of Flower Street and distant llSO feet <br />Northerly from the intersection of the centerline of <br />Flower Street with the center line of Santa Clara Avenue, <br />and a line drawn through the radius point of the Nor <br />terly curb return in the intersection of Flower Street <br />with the proposed Santa Ana Boulevard, which said radius <br />point is located at a point in the Northeasterly line of <br />Santa Ana Boulevard and thirty (30) feet Westerly measure( <br />at right angles from the center line of Flower Street and <br />a point on the Easterly curb line ~ Flower Street dis- <br />tant 27 feet Northerly measured along the said Easterly <br />curb line of Flower Stroet from the Northeasterly line of <br />Santa Ana Boulevard, and all of the street intersections <br />between said limits shall be improved by the grading and <br />placing thereon of a Portland Cement Concrete Pavement, <br />including driveways, and ~he construction of Portland <br />Cement Concrete Curbs along the curb lims of said street, <br />and at street intersections around curves to intersect <br />the curb lines of said intersecting streets and the con- <br />struction of Portland Cement Concrete Sidewalks along <br />each side of said street, within said limits, excepting <br />from said improvements that portion of said street to be <br />occupied by a bridge to be constructed across Santiago <br />Creek as hereinafter described, and further excepting <br />such portion of said street as is required by law to be <br />kept in order or repair by any person or company .having <br />railroad tracks thereon; also the improvement of said <br />portion of Flower Street by the installation of an orna- <br />mental lighting system, consisting of cast iron single <br />lighting standards, and all other necessary appurtanances <br />thereto; and the construction of a reinforced concrete <br />bridge over Santiago Creek, the construction of a concrete <br />pipe storm drain and all necessary appurtenances thereto <br />from the bridge to be constructed as hereinbefore des- <br />cribed to a point distant approximately 770 feet Nc <br />therefrom; the construction of a reinforced concrete box <br />culvert and all necessary appurtenances thereto across <br />said street near the Southerly line of West Orange Road; <br />the construction of vitrified clay pipe main sewer, vi- <br />trified clay pipe house connecting s~er~ cast iron pipe <br />syphon under Santiago Creek, and all'other necessary <br />appurtenances thereto; and the installation of cast iron <br />pipe water main, copper pipe house services, fire hydrant <br />and all other necessary appurtenances thereto within the <br />limits of said Flower Street as hereinbefore defined. <br /> The impr~ement of that portion of Riverside Drive lying <br />North of the center line thereof from the Easterly curb <br />line of Flower Street to a line drawn parallel to and <br />distant approximately sixty (60) feet Easterly therefrom <br />shall consist of the grading and paving thereof with a <br />Portland Cement Concrete Pavement, the construction of <br />Portland Cement Concrete Curb and the construction of <br />Portland Cement Concrete sidewalk, excepting therefrom <br />any portion thereof already improved to the official grade <br /> <br />A petition was presented si~ed by John Eangold and <br />Bertha Nangold, representing one-fourth of the qualified <br />electors, for the annexation of territory known as the <br />Wright Street Addition.
