Trustees Good~ <br />Kelly and Clmney appointed as such committee. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Chancy and car- <br />ried, the communication from S. H. Finley, Secretary of <br />the Metropolitan Water District inclosing copies of Ordi- <br />nances No. 7 and 8, was accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the communication from F. W. Slabaugh, County Pur- <br />chasing Agent,requesting for the County of Orange, the <br />abandonment of a portion of Brown Street lying south of <br />County property at Fruit Street and Santa Fe tracks, was <br />referred to the Engineer and Attorney to take the neees- <br /> <br />sary steps. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, <br /> <br />seconded by McBride and car- <br /> <br />tied, the report of the Health Department-for the month <br />of November~ was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />0n motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Chancy and car- <br />ried, applications for electric signs were granted under <br />supervision of the Electrical Inspector' as follows: <br /> <br />Nash Outfitting Company <br />City Taxi <br />C, M. Derden <br /> <br />420 N. Main St. <br />305 N. Broadway <br />522 S. Main St. <br /> <br />One Hundred Fifty-two petitions containing the signatures <br />of 2296 supposed qualified voters of the City, were pre- <br />sented, demanding the election of successors as members <br />of the City Council. On motion of Trustee McBride, <br />seconded by Kelly and carried, the petitions were taken <br />under advisement for one week and referred to the Attorne <br />fe~ his legal opinion. <br /> <br /> <br />
