Biggs. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br /> ried, the application of the Star Taxi Service for a <br /> change in location from Third and Broadway to the Motor <br /> Trans~ t Stage Depot at Third and Spurgeon, was referred <br /> to the Manager for investigation to report back. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode'and car- <br /> tied~, the applications of the Alpha Beta Market at~ <br /> 1502 W. Fifth Street, E. R. Marshall at 411 W. Fourth <br /> Street and J. I. Decker at Grand Central Market to sell <br /> fireworks, were granted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Chancy and car <br /> tied, the resolution of The Ministerial Association of <br /> Santa Ana was accepted and the Clerk instructed to <br /> write the Association that the matter of wine tonics <br /> and canned heat being sold in Santa Ana has been refer- <br /> red to the Attorney for recommendation as to what action <br /> will be taken. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chaney and car- <br /> ried, the application of the Cope Electric Company to <br /> hang electric sign for the Orange County Tire Company <br /> at 1622 N. Main Street, was granted under supervision <br /> of the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the bond of William C. Pentecost to contract for <br />Cement Sidewalk and Curbing was referred to the Chair <br />for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by McBride and car- <br /> <br />ried, the application of the L. B . Price Mercantile <br />Company for permission to move office and stock from <br /> <br />410 N. Bristol Street to a double garage at 356 McFadden <br /> <br />Street, was referred to the Manager with power to act. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br /> <br />ried, the property at the northeast corner of Third and <br />French Street was ordered posted for special uses in <br /> <br /> <br />
