Kelly. <br /> <br />of meetings of June 17th and 24th <br />approved as read. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Mre. Helen Song. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustae Goode, seconded by Ch~ey and car- <br />tied, the application of Mrs. Helen Song for permission <br />to do hand laundry work in a garage behind her home at <br />501 E. Fourth Street, was referred to the Manager for <br />investigation and report back in one week. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign <br /> <br />Goodwill Industries. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the application of the Robertson Electric Corp., <br />to hang an electric sign for the Goodwill Industries at <br />418 W. Fourth Street, was granted under supervision of <br />the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bond of <br /> <br />Pac. Elect. <br /> <br />Ry. Co. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the Continuation Certificate on the bond of the <br />Pacific Electric Railway Company, a corporation, to oper- <br />ate automobile busses' in the City, was referred to the <br />Chair for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />for Water Service. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Chaney and car. <br />tied, the application of Edward T. Beaudette for water <br />service outside the City Limits at 1316 King Street, was <br />referred to the Manager to report back in one weok. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ornamental Lights <br /> <br />on North Ross St. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />ried, the Engineer was instructed to prepare plans and <br />specifications for the installation of King Standard No. <br />K 0 159 Ornamental Lights on North Ross Street between <br />Nineteenth Street aud Santa Clara Avenue at the approxi- <br />mate cost of $1.~5 per front foot, according to petition <br />filed by property owners. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition <br /> <br />Ministerial Assn. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the petition of the Ministerial Association signed <br />by residents of Santa Ana and the communication of Mr. <br />Swarmer, City Attorney, relative to prohibiting sale of <br />wine tonics, canned heat and other intoxicants in Santa <br />Ana, were taken under advisement for one week. <br /> <br /> <br />
